- <p>The Verdaguer Festival is <strong>one of the oldest literary festivals</strong> in Europe. The main event is the planting of the May tree, but during this literary fortnight, Folgueroles offers plenty of other activities. At the <strong>Old Poetry Book Market</strong> you’ll find that edition you’ve always been after. You can also discover the <strong>Folgueroles ballet</strong>, an ancient dance that has been revived and that now honours Father Jacint Verdaguer. You can also go on the <strong>Verdaguer Route</strong> to discover all the special places that appear in his poems!</p>
